Tries from Rich Piper, Craig Blackburn, Jack Bickerdike and Will Denham took Cleckheaton to a 24-19 victory over Nat 3 - Midlands team, Scunthorpe.
There are many things for coaches Scott Benton and Gordon Piper to work on but very many positives to take away from the game too. The start of the season is now less than a week away when Cleckheaton open up their campaign at home to Firwood Waterloo.
