Stephen Thornton 1950 - 2018

It is with sadness that we have learnt of the sudden death of Stephen Thornton after a short illness.

Stephen played with distinction for Cleckheaton 1st XV in the 1960's and 70's along with his twin brother David. A product of Whitcliffe Mount Grammar School, Stephen featured in the Yorkshire Shield Final in 1975 against Hessle.

A Church Service in his memory will take place at St Johns Church on the 18th of December at 11am.
