Full details of all this weekend’s senior and junior rugby.

Saturday 23 January (Kick off 2.15pm)

Burnage v 1st XV
Kestrels v Sheffield 2
4th XV v Baildon 2

The 1st XV make the short trip over the Pennines to face bottom club Burnage in what is a must win game. The two sides met at Moorend in October with Cleck running out comfortable winners 44-20 so confidence will be high that they can register an early first win of 2016 and kick start a strong finish to the season. For any supporters wanting to travel over to support the 1st XV, full details of getting to Burnage can be found on their website: http://www.pitchero.com/clubs/burnage/

The feature match at Moorend this week sees the Kestrels take on Sheffield 2nd XV and with confidence restored following the appointment of new coach Carl Mason, the team will be keen to address the heavy 47-0 defeat inflicted over at Sheffield earlier in the season.

The 4th XV entertain Baildon 2nd XV up at Whitcliffe in their first game of 2016. The winter break should have served the 4th XV well and they will be keen to get their season back up and running in what is always a tough and competitive fixture.
