The 1st XV are at home once again as they host an Ilkley side that sit 6th in National 3 North after registering 2 wins in their opening 3 games. Cleck have the same record of 2 wins in 3 but thanks to the 106 points scored in their last two fixtures are in 3rd place behind early pace setters Wirral and Huddersfield. After two outstanding performances against Stockport and Morley, much will be expected of Cleck on Saturday, but Ilkley will provide a stern test and showed last season how good they are away from home, winning 9 of their 13 fixtures on the road.

The Kestrels might be starting to forget what Moorend looks like as they embark on their 4th consecutive away trip of the season. Starts to a season don’t get much tougher than away fixtures at Wharfedale, Sheffield, Otley and Ilkley, but Andy Clark and his boys will certainly be up for the challenge that Ilkley 2nds will pose.

The 3rd XV also make the trip to Ilkley and will be looking to follow up their 24-22 victory at Morley last week with another away win.
