It’s local derbies all the way on Saturday as the 1st XV make the short trip to Wagon Lane to face Bradford & Bingley. Despite being close neighbours the sides haven’t actually faced each other since the 2005-06 season. Both teams had disappointing opening day results and will be keen to get their campaigns up and running so things should be set up for an excellent, keenly contested local derby. The Kestrels are in action at Moorend as they host Old Brods 2nds and the 4ths are also at home as they take on Old Brods Beavers at Whitcliffe.
