Cleckheaton 3rds 29 Sandals 3rds 12

A re-arranged fixture saw Cleck 3rds playing Sandal 3rds. Early in the game Clecks defensive line was broken with a well taken try from Sandals inside centre which was converted. Great work from the Cleckheaton forwards was rewarded with a fine try. Which was also converted. Minutes later Sandals were crossing over clecks line with the very same inside pass for the centre to score, the easy conversion missed with ten minutes to go before half time, great open play rubgy, saw Tom brooke scoring wide of the posts with Joff Ward just missing conversion. Half ime 12-12. The secound half was all Cleckheaton with brilliant rubgy from both forwards and backs, with further tries from Joff Ward and another from Tom brooke and Glenn Rayne crashing over from close range, with one try converted. Another great result.
