After a thrilling semi-final match where we comprehensively beat Bradford Salem 83-12, Cleckheaton RUFC has secured a spot in the final of the Yorkshire Cup against York RUFC!

The final showdown is set to be the highlight of the Yorkshire RFU’s finals day which will take place at 5.00pm on Saturday 24 May at the John Charles Centre for Sport’s South Leeds Stadium, Hunslet LS11 5DJ

This is only the second Yorkshire Cup Final for Cleckheaton: the last one being in 2005 - a match featuring one Paul Turner, who will, impressively, be representing us this time as well. Well done Paul!

Getting into the final is a fantastic achievement for the Club to finish its Centenary Season and we’re all crossing our fingers for an historic victory!

11.00am Yorkshire Vase Final: Maltby v Nestle Rowntree
1.00pm Yorkshire Silver Trophy Final: Old Otliensians v Wheatley Hills
3.00pm Yorkshire Shield Final: North Ribblesdale v Yarnbury
5.00pm Yorkshire Cup Final: Cleckheaton v York

As this is the only the second ever Yorkshire Cup final that the club has appeared in, we expect there will be a great turnout supporting the Lambs.

To ensure our supporters can cheer the team on, a supporters bus will be departing from the Moorend top car park at 14:00. Tickets for the bus are available behind the bar for £10 each. Don't miss this chance to support our team in what promises to be an unforgettable match!
