This morning our U16's Girls set off on tour to Morpeth, for what is the very first Girls' Rugby tour representing Cleckheaton RUFC!

It's been a long time coming and we almost got there in 2021 but the lockdowns scuppered any realistic plans at the time.

With our 'Cleckheaton Cowgirls' heading off up North for the Morpeth 7's festival, the excitement was clear to see for all involved - and the girls were sure to be challenged.

A fabulous bunch of both players and parents to make memories with, and a tale or two to tell on their return no doubt.

The first tour of many we hope..........in fact, we insist.
