Cleck's oldest surviving former player, Ernest Woodman, passed away recently at the grand old age of 96.
Condolences to his son Julian, also a Cleckheaton stalwart and his family. Ernest played fullback just after the war and is pictured third from the left on the back row of this team photo from 1947.
