Yesterday morning (Good Friday) our U16's Boys set off on their much anticipated tour. With 24 players and 21 adults travelling, it was certainly going to prove to be a lively bus trip to Dover!

The group set sail to Lille in Northern France, where they will stay for the duration of the trip, crossing the border to compete in the annual Easter Festival in Ghent, Belgium.

Collectively, the parents and players have raised a phenomenal amount of money (just over £13,500) to ensure all the players were paid for whilst also having enough to allow an exciting itinerary of activities when there.

The tours prove to be a real hit with all of our teams and often cement further the friendships within the team for many more years to come.

Next year will see our new U16' boys go on tour, along with our very first girls tour as a club. The planning and fundraising efforts have already begun. Should anyone wish to help with any fundraising for either teams in anyway then please do get in touch.
