Yesterday afternoon our U16's Boys set off on their much anticipated tour. With 19 players and and 9 adults travelling, it was certainly going to prove to be a lively bus trip to their first stop at Salisbury RUFC for a Friday night training session and pit stop for food.
The team then travelled to Bournemouth to take part in their annual festival this afternoon, where the players will be keen to give a great account of themselves.
Collectively, the parents and players have worked really hard to raise money and secure much needed sponsorship, to allow an exciting itinerary of activities to be prepared for all when there.
The tours prove to be a real hit with all of our teams and often cement further the friendships within the team for many more years to come.
Thank you to everyone who donated in some way to their tour - it is very much appreciated!
Good luck to the team for the festival today - we hope you make the best memories together that will last a life time!
Next weekend will see our very first girls' tour as a club, as some of the U16's girls travel to Morpeth to take part in their annual 7's festival. Should anyone wish to help with sponsorship in anyway then please do get in touch, there is still time to help boost their efforts! Please contact Hannah Curley on 07986 875603 for more details.
