On a muddy Sunday morning they were entertained by Aireborough and certainly seemed to be proud of their new kit. It was apparent that the defence focussed training session from the week before had helped Cleckheaton be organised. Aireborough were finding it difficult to break down Cleckheaton’s defence with their enthusiastic tagging. Cleckheaton’s finishing was ruthless especially Josh (Player of the game) who scored 2 quick tries in the first few minutes. Notable performances came from Tyler for consistent backing up (100% Performance), Sam for his trickery, William for his busting runs, Charlie for his captains performance and Theo for his determination. All of whom were excellent in both attack and defence.
