The final match report of the season, by Miles Nicholson

On Sunday Cleckheaton RUFC U7’s hosted Morley. Both Cleckheaton and Morley were able to field two strong teams with end to end action with the overall honours going to Cleckheaton over four matches.
In team ‘A’ Sam Booth (captain), Sam Jackson and Tom Wassell made some excellent runs. Adam Boocock and Joel Pratt were notable for their brilliant defensive play with the 100% effort in this match going to Joel Pratt which was well deserved especially considering this was only his 2nd match.
In team ‘B’ Tyler Hardy & William Nicholson (captain) were superb in attack constantly backing up whilst Joe Oldroyd, Theo McAnulla and Charlie Rutter were tireless in defence. 100% effort in this match being awarded to Tyler Hardy who is back to his best following an injury.
As for the ‘Player of the Day’, it really was impossible to single out any one individual.
On Saturday, Cleckheaton U7’s will be playing at Leeds Carnegie stadium at half time.
